About Us SoCal Aviation Inc.
Established in 2020 by experienced Airline Pilot and Gold Seal Instructor Suhail A. Faiz Mirza, SoCal Aviation Inc. has rapidly grown into one of Southern California’s most trusted aviation training organizations. Built on a foundation of excellence, safety, and student success, our flight school has consistently earned national recognition as a “Distinguished Flight School” by AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association) for three consecutive years.
At SoCal Aviation Inc., we maintain a versatile and advanced fleet of 13 aircraft that supports pilots at every stage of training. Our fleet includes 12 single-engine Cessna 172 aircraft, renowned for their reliability and training suitability, with one Cessna 172SP equipped with Garmin G1000 avionics and 3-axis autopilot meeting FAA Technically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) criteria. Our multi-engine program features the state-of-the-art Tecnam P2006T with Garmin 950 NXi avionics, providing an advanced platform for Multi-Engine Commercial ratings. We also offer the Redbird Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD), a fully FAA-approved simulator that allows students to practice procedures and instrument skills in a controlled environment.
Our comprehensive training pathway enables students to progress from zero experience to fully qualified commercial pilots with confidence. We proudly offer Private Pilot License (PPL), Instrument Rating (IR), Single-Engine Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Multi-Engine Commercial Pilot License (ME-CPL), and TAA Commercial Training. With 16 experienced and dedicated instructors, including Gold Seal Certified Instructors, we ensure personalized attention, superior instruction, and timely course completion.
Zero to Hero!
Our program will take you through all the training you need to acquire your commercial flight license. With our caring and helpful instructors, you will be training in a Cessna out of Chino Airport in Southern California. You will be able to fly over many beautiful landmarks and areas that you never see except from the air. SoCal Aviation also offers flight training on our simulator to train for instrument test and allows training even during bad weather. Contact us to learn more and become a pilot in less than a year.

Flight Simulator Training
SoCal Aviation Inc. utilizes the Redbird Advanced Flight Simulator to provide a high-tech, cost-effective training environment for aspiring pilots. This state-of-the-art simulator is configured for both single-engine and multi-engine aircraft, featuring realistic controls and a high-fidelity visual system that allows students to master complex scenarios and emergency procedures in a risk-free setting. Beyond its immersive training capabilities, the Redbird simulator offers significant practical advantages: students can apply up to 50 hours of simulator time toward their Part 61 or Commercial Pilot requirements, reducing the overall cost of flight training while building the confidence and technical proficiency needed for real-world aviation.
